Hope everyone had a great Halloween! We had a good ole time; family costumes and candy for the win! And this year Adelaide was super excited about the whole dressing up and trick-or-treating thing, so it was a total blast to watch!
Jordan had the same lack of interest this year when it came time to find costumes as he did last Halloween and the year before. He did agree (or at least he didn't object) when I started in on the family costume thing though, so that was an improvement over previous years. But when it came down to specific ideas, all he did was call them "spare" and "lame" without offering up any alternative ideas (I think I know where Adelaide gets her 'tude from :). So I made an executive decision the day of Halloween, once I had given up any hope of input from him, and vampire it was. He wasn't at all into it til I got him all dressed and made up, and then he was into it, rivaling Adelaide's "into it-ness". (Don't tell him I told you ;) I don't know why he tries to resist.
And now we're on to November! The start of all things Thanksgiving, Christmas and Gilmore Girls A Year in the Life! It's gonna be the best November ever!
