I look at this outfit and think maybe it's not worthy of posting. Maybe it's not special or "different" enough to post? I come across lots blogs with gorgeous girls in L.A. and NYC with post after post featuring them in their beautiful, sky-high heels, carrying Chanel bags. Of course I appreciate their impeccable sense of style, but it doesn't take long for me to go looking elsewhere for inspiration. (That's why I shamelessly devoted to The Daybook, and continually look to Sydney for my blog inspiration.)
Anyway....
Don't get me wrong, I don't think there is one single thing wrong with those blogs or those girls, I just can't relate to them. I would say that for the most part, Texas girls living in the suburbs don't really do it up like that on a daily basis. Not that there would be anything with them if they did. (Boy I'm spending a lot of time trying to make sure I don't offend anyone with this post!) I guess I'm just saying that this is me, on a daily basis. And if I can't relate to those far more glamorous girls living in the big cities that I can only dream of, then maybe there are other people like me too, who appreciate seeing a normal girl in normal clothes every once in a while ;)
Happy Wednesday!
